چکیده
This paper reports on the integration of publicly available HTS conductor electromagnetic performance data into a magnetic Finite Element model for determining critical current distribution along section in spatially fluctuating field. The simulation results from this are shown to be close agreement experimentally obtained results. Typically monitoring quench is done by measuring volt-drop protected and when reaches predetermined level. work shows that under varying field conditions, small areas voltage monitored could have already surpassed level hence stand high probability being site quench. Under these it proposed use maximum electric developed as criterion current. points need developing detection technique can applied much smaller sections conductor, particularly geometries expected experience largest variations such rotating machine.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Critical currents in superconducting networks and magnetic field effects
2014 Network equations for finite and extended superconducting arrays are studied in the presence of external currents. Critical currents are obtained for typical network geometries. In the presence of a magnetic field, the critical currents are shown to be very sensitive to the underlying topology of the network. This is illustrated through explicit calculations on an extended square network. ...

A fundamental experiment was carried out to study the motion of superconducting wire under the influence of electromagnetic force. Experiments were conducted at 4.2 K by varying the experimental conditions such as applied tension to test superconducting wire, insulating material used at the interface of superconducting wire and base material. The experimental method and the test results are rep...
متن کاملCritical currents of Josephson-coupled wire arrays
We calculate the current-voltage characteristics and critical current Ic array of a two-layer array of Josephsoncoupled superconducting wires. If the number of magnetic flux quanta per plaquette is f 5p/q , where p and q are mutually prime integers, Ic ( f ) is found to have sharp peaks when q is a small integer. To an excellent approximation, it is found in a square array of n plaquettes, that...
متن کاملCritical transport currents of superconducting microarrays
2014 From the nonlinear Ginzburg-Landau equations exact maximum supercurrent densities of injected transport currents were calculated for a square microarray as a function of lattice parameter. In the limit that the lattice parameter becomes small in comparison to the temperature dependent coherence length, values of the maximum current were also obtained for honeycomb and rectangular arrays. T...
